3 Day Sussex Walk and Wine Tour

Day One: A wonderful walk through the Cuckmere valley including some spectacular views towards the ‘Seven Sisters’ chalk cliffs. Then along the river bank past local landmarks back to Alfriston village. You are then taken on a vineyard tour and wine tasting with lovely buffet lunch. We return you to your hotel with time to see the beautiful local surroundings with dinner in your hotel.

Day Two: A circular walk including the Rathfinny Wine Estate with moderate uphill sections and some of the most wonderful long-distance views of the sea and down land. You will be transported to a traditional Sussex pub or local restaurant for lunch and then on to a prize-winning vineyard for a tour and description of the winemaking process followed by a tasting of up to 5 wines. You will have time to purchase wine if you wish and then you will be transported back to Alfriston for the evening with dinner at your hotel.

Day Three:   Following breakfast, you will meet your host for a humorous and historical tour of Alfriston the largest village in the Cuckmere valley and following a refreshing mid-morning coffee you will have the rest of the day for yourselves.
